ART & MY CAREER - GAME SESSION

Addressing the issue of under-representation of women in the art world, the board game ‘Art & My Career’ feature different careers of women in the western art world. From artist to museum curator, how do women manage to find a place in this world?

In this game, players are invited to put themselves in their shoes in order to better understand their work conditions. This game addresses women as well as any person concerned by the pervasive patriarchy in the ecosystem formed by the art world.

The game session will be followed by a group discussion.

Olivia Hernaïz:

Born in 1985, Olivia Hernaïz is a Belgian-Spanish artist based in Brussels. In her practice, she called into question the efficiency and legitimacy of human fictions such as politics, money or gender. Dialogue is at the core practice of Olivia Hernaïz. Her projects act as starting points to engage conversations with others.
