DAVID NEITA AND DEBORAH PRITCHARD COLLABORATE ON AN EVENING OF SPOKEN WORD AND MUSIC

Join poet David Neita and classical composer Deborah Pritchard for an evening of spoken word and music inspired by Yinka Shonibare's powerful artistic vision. Deborah has composed a musical landscape in response to David's poetry creating a rich alchemy of contemporary music and spoken word, exploring themes of identity, migration, society and the environment.

Synaesthetic composer Deborah Pritchard recently won a British Composer Award for her solo violin work 'Inside Colour'. She has been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and broadcast on BBC Radio 3. David Neita is a published poet, lawyer, presenter and motivational speaker. He is a commentator on race, politics, mental health, the arts and an advocate for human rights. David has worked with NASA and is a fellow of the Kings Fund.
